He is like any normal guy, some bitch pushes his buttons in just the right way, and he gets fucking pissed! He's got to release it somewhere, most guys say shit like he did, and then get it out of the system, Mel is one cool dude, I'd buy him a beer, or maybe some coke, I think he'd like either one.

It's all a publicity stunt, in his next movie he plays an abusive alcoholic husband that has terminal testicular cancer and is also dealing with his best friends death. Deep shit only Mel could pull off.
