I hate that I see the title of an article, start to read it and then feel like something is fishy. Sure enough, I scroll up to see who wrote it and when I see "Chris Chase" I totally understand why it's a bullshit article. Don't know the man as a person and could care less. Chris Chase is the worst "writer" in the history of sports, writing, and history.

I could always tell when I clicked a link on yahoo that its written by chris chase. I hated it when I realized I added views to his 'blog.' Yahoo probably believe he adds viewers by amount of reader comments. Or chris chase is just a creation by yahoo itself.

But i hated it every time i read his blog. The only talent he has is putting up an eye catching title that make you click on it. Rest of the article is pure garbage. I am cursing you CC for making me spend time on writing this mail.

Yahoo is slapping us in the face by not listening to there readers. FIRE HIM BEFORE WE HANG OURSELFS.

Chris Chase is an embarrassment to the media. He shows pure plagiarism, is very biased, and just by reading an article, reading the comments, you can tell hardly any of the readers like his blog. Chris is bringing Yahoo's sports section down. He has no respect. He constantly misspells words(even though there's a spell check) He is taking a GOOD blogger's job..

Chris is a drama queen and drama queens have no business being on the front page of yahoo.com. Please God get rid of him. I'm sick of being tricked into believing there's actually something funny or important related to sports. I click on the link and low and behold its a Chris Chase article so i know it's going to suck and 49 times out of 50 they really really do.

Chris Chase is amongst the WORST sports writers I have come across. I spend a lot of time reading SI and Yahoo Sports...I can appreciate good writing. What Chris does is poor to say the least.

I can understand that he needs to churn out so many blogs per day, and that he can make mistakes. But he makes so many of the big NO-NO errors in writing, such as using SWEAR words and getting incredibly emotional and BIASED. He throws out all the rules or good writing out the window. I understand that this is a blog - but this is NOT A PERSONAL BLOG, this is material that is being published and being read by thousands of people, and as such a REAL writer should be hired, like a regular columnist who knows what flies and what doesn't. Fire this guy, and hire someone who has a love for the game, and not love for certain teams, and who and first and foremost write a good articles free of bias, slang, curse words, trite idioms, etc.

Chris, I knew it was only a matter of time before it would come to this. I say it every time I post on your blog and I'll say it again: you suck! Your writing is atrocious, you spin where it's not needed or appreciated, you make something out of nothing, you are one sided and have your favorites, and you don't understand sports. Yeah I never look at who wrote it, then about half way through the article I think, "this sucks." I curiously scroll up to see who wrote it and never to my surprise it always reads "Chris Chase."

i regret ever reading any of his articles

I even hate his articles and I'm his Freakin mom. The child was a little slow growing up and his eyes are too close together. He ate lead paint as a kid and thought he could grow up to be a writer. He finally learned to spell his name his senior year of high school, we were so proud. I had bigger plans for him then writing horrible articles for yahoo. I will pray that you change your attitude when writing about people you are not too keen about. It is very obvious you have an ego trip and your critique comes across as mean spirited and just lacking founded thought. Lets hope you reflect on what so many seem to see and make positive changes in this new year 2012. I just read your article on Serena Williams and I immediately thought of sending you a response only to find it impossible to access your email me link - rightly so it seems. But guess what I did stumble upon...it seems you've been ticking people off for a while and you seem oblivious to that fact. As I mentioned earlier, here's hoping and praying for you to find time to reflect before writing other articles, blogs etc. Noone is above changing for the better... always remember that.
