well, I'll give you some constructive advice here. I don't believe in just ragging on things saying "oh this sucks" without giving a REASON why they suck. I'm a lot more fair than most music critics on this site. So with that said:

-Lose the Rick James bit. Seriously.

-You need more fucking guitars! Where's the guitars!

-More bass. REAL bass. As in, the four string instrument, not just low-frequency synthesized drum machines. You obviously have plenty of that.

-Get a real drummer. Drum machines are for lazy fuckers who can't find real musicians to play with.

So in other words, get some REAL instruments, hire yourself a band, and maybe we'll be seeing you. Otherwise...I think there are some good "Home Shopping Network" reruns on that night that I'd rather stay home and watch.

I don't know if the Neurolux crowd will be won over. As long as you can switch it up, you'll be fine--grab some soul, some disco, some 80's, some old school hiphop, a little indie rock, a little dubstep and add it to your set and you'll be fine----------or, just play your set and see what the response is. It's a diverse crowd.

Thanks for the feedback, I play a pretty diverse set already; most of the stuff I play is much more upbeat than that song, it's just one that I've made myself so I thought I would post it. I'll make sure I grab some more 80s and disco tracks just in case though

^Don't know, wasn't there, but to ^^ and ^^^, I don't think anyone cares about graduate, retention, or transfer rates at ISU or BSU (or stupid rivalries that should be caboshed by grade 2)at an alternative bar in Boise on a Friday night. However, there are a couple of professors that come down, so they might bring it up if the pickin's are slim on the ladies. Highly doubtful.

So, any word on it it went?

Pretty slow night Friday, didn't pick up much until about 1 am. People that were there got out and danced though, I play again the 22nd and 29th, hope to see more people out!

it was pretty dead the whole night, can't blame the Droppleganger for that. for my own personal tastes though, I kept wishing I could just hear the original tracks, instead of the remix/mashup versions.

highlight of the night, was when some drunk lesbian went onto the stage and started wilding out. She had to be removed, it was great.
